Who does the work
The distinctive part of the team is not the fire engineers. It is that process technologists sit alongside them and read the process before any protection is designed. That is what the method rests on, and it is the part competitors do not replicate by hiring.
Engineering capability and method were built over two decades of continuous practice on process industry facilities. Where a project draws on the wider group capability, it is delivered through the entity that holds it, and we say so.
Normative base
We have no house standard
The base that applies is set by the jurisdiction the facility is built in, by the licensor package, and by the client and its insurer. On a large facility several apply at once, and establishing which requirement governs where they differ is part of the engineering work, not a formality before it.
Codes are revised. We work to the edition in force for the project, not to the edition we learned. This section will list authority registrations as they are obtained — we do not list what we do not hold.
Quality
How the work is checked
- Independent internal review of every calculation before issue.
- Design review against the process, not only against the checklist.
- Traceability from scenario to system size to specification, so a reviewer can follow why a system is the size it is.
